Volunteer Opportunities

Count Team Volunteers
 The parish office is looking for volunteers to help count money from offertory on Mondays. The count team is asked to commit to every other Monday from 9:30-11:30 am. No experience or computer skills are needed. Please call the parish office at (850) 222-1321 to submit your name.

Books & Gifts Store Volunteers
The Books & Gifts Store is looking for volunteers to cover the hours it is open on weekends and occasionally during the week. Volunteers work the cash register and must be of age to handle money and must complete the Diocesan Requirements. Nursery Volunteers
 The Blessed Sacrament nursery is located off the hallway to the parish hall. Currently, Blessed Sacrament is not offering nursery services during Sunday morning Masses. If you have a heart for serving children ages 1-3 and would like to help with our nursery, please contact Rita Fete ([email protected]). When open, Student Volunteers (ages 12-17) are also welcome, and they can earn service hours for several organizations, including National Junior Honors Society, Confirmation Program, Boy Scouts, St. John Paul II, and Bright Future Scholarship.

RCIA Sponsors
Being a companion for individuals exploring the Catholic Church is a sacred ministry; it is demanding but eternally rewarding. Requirements include: being in good standing with the Catholic Church (having received Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist), actively practicing your faith, and at least 16 years of age. Refreshment Volunteers
The Refreshments committee is looking for a few extra hands and smiling volunteers to assist with serving coffee and doughnuts after the 8:00 AM, 10:30 AM, or 12:15 PM Sunday Masses. Volunteers make coffee and juice and prepare trays of doughnuts. Couples and families often volunteer together. This is a great way to meet and greet fellow parishioners and give back to your Church!

Life Teen and Edge CORE Team
 Our Youth Ministries are led by a passionate group of adults called the Core Team. For more information on volunteering to be a part of the CORE, contact Tracy Melin at [email protected].

Drivers Needed
 Volunteers are needed to drive parishioners to Mass and appointments. We need drivers who can transport to appointments during the week and to Mass on the weekends. Volunteers must be fingerprinted and complete required online training. This is a much needed service we want to offer our needy and elderly parishioners.
