Are you or someone you know interested in learning more about the Catholic Faith?
Are you a member of another Christian faith who is seeking to join the Catholic Church?
Are you a baptized Catholic who has not received First Communion or Confirmation?
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is a process of initiation into the Catholic Community of Faith for those interested in becoming Catholic. This process enables the study of the Gospels, Catholic teaching, Christian values, and the development and deepening of a life of prayer and action with the support and involvement of the parish community. It is about the everyday conversion that all disciples of Christ are called to experience. Participants of RCIA will be prepared to receive the sacraments of Eucharist and Confirmation. They may also receive Baptism if they have not already been baptized in a Christian faith.
Topics studied in preparation for receiving the sacraments include creation, salvation, the afterlife, the Trinity, the saints, our Blessed Mother, prayer, the seven sacraments, the Ten Commandments, and moral principles of our faith. We use a year-round teaching model, so those interested are welcome to join at any point throughout the year. Please contact Dcn C. Louis Feté at (850) 386-8715 or [email protected] if you or someone you know would like to learn more.
